Tamil star Trisha Krishnan has made her comeback in Telugu cinema after a decade with none other than Megastar Chiranjeevi. She will be seen with Chiranjeevi in his film Vishwambhara. The two of them had worked together in the 2006 Telugu blockbuster Stalin, directed by AR Murugadoss and inspired by the English film, Pay It Forward. Trisha was supposed to star with Chiranjeevi in his 2022 film Acharya but she opted out citing creative differences.
The announcement about Trisha joining the cast of Vishwambhara was made by Chiranjeevi himself on his social media on Monday. The Ponniyin Selvan actress also shared her excitement on social media. Trisha posted pictures with Chiranjeevi on set and expressed the joy of returning to the Telugu film industry. On both her X and Instagram accounts, she wrote, “Guess this is what homecoming feels like. When magic and nature’s wonder take center stage… Vishwambhara.”
It is reported that around 13 massive sets have been erected in Hyderabad for this film. This socio-fantasy film is directed by Mallidi Vassishta. It is being produced by V. Vamsi Krishna Reddy, Pramod Uppalapati, and Vikram Reddy, under UV Creations. The film will reportedly have a budget of approximately Rs 150 crores. MM Keeravaani is composing the film’s music, while Chota K Naidu is the cinematographer. Chiranjeevi’s daughter Sushmita Konidela is designing the costumes for tyhis movie.
Kotagiri Venkateswara Rao and Santhosh Kamireddy are the editors for the film.
Sri Siva Shakthi Datta and Chandrabose are the lyric writers, while Srinivas Gavireddy, Ganta Sridhar, Nimmagadda Srikanth, and Mayukh Adithya are the script associates.
The filmmakers are looking to release the movie on January 10, 2025.
