As Priyanka Gandhi approached the Parliament hall’s main entrance, her brother Rahul Gandhi stopped her with a special request—he wanted to click pictures of her holding a copy of the Constitution moments before she took her oath as a Lok Sabha MP.

In a video shared by the Congress on X, Rahul can be heard saying, “Let me also click one,” prompting laughter from those around. Another clip shows Rahul asking Priyanka to step back for the perfect shot while others made way. Like a doting brother, he even showed her the clicked photos, capturing a joyful moment between the siblings.

Priyanka Gandhi’s oath-taking follows her resounding victory from Kerala’s Wayanad, where she surpassed her brother Rahul’s previous tally with a winning margin of over 4.1 lakh votes. After her oath, she was seen leaving Parliament and later posed with Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge.

During the ceremony, Priyanka took her affirmation in Hindi, holding the Constitution, shortly after the House convened. Her oath marks a rare occasion where three members of the same family—Priyanka, Rahul, and their mother Sonia Gandhi—serve simultaneously as Members of Parliament.
