The renowned philanthropist and businesswoman made her entrance into the store amidst tight security, in a simple yet elegant dark blue co-ord set. A Rich Legacy of Handloom Sarees

The House of Angadi, which has a rich 600-year-old heritage, is known for its exquisite collection of handloom sarees, textiles, and curated ethnic wear. Specialising in Kanjeevaram silk sarees and custom bridal wear, the store blends traditional Indian weaves with modern designs. Located in the heart of South Bengaluru, the 18,000 square feet store is helmed by K. Radharaman, heir to the family’s storied business.

Though the store has long been an institution for fine textiles, it gained wider attention when Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone chose an Angadi saree for her Mangalorean wedding in Italy in 2018.
