I was in the metro and suddenly, out of nowhere, a hand came and squeezed my thigh. I jumped up immediately and the hand pulled away. I swear, if I had seen that hand, I would have broken it!”
Other commenters offered some perspective, with one user stating, “To the people saying why didn’t he move, maybe it’s because he froze up or couldn’t process what just happened. It’s not like this happens every day in someone’s life.”
Many others joined the conversation, recounting their own experiences of being inappropriately touched or feeling uncomfortable in crowded spaces. One person shared, “That is so disgusting, also happened with me once and it was a lady and I am also F. Private space is so important and I get uncomfortable even when people are standing close to me. That must have been hard.”
This incident highlights the growing concern about the lack of respect for personal space in public places, especially in crowded settings like the metro. The overwhelming response from the Reddit community suggests that this is a widespread issue, with many people sharing similar stories of unwanted physical contact.
