India has always been a favorite destination for international musicians, and Bryan Adams is not an exception. His ‘So Happy It Hurts’ tour created much excitement, and after memorable performances in Kolkata and Shillong, he brought his incredible show to Gurgaon on December 12. While the music was great, the event’s management left many disappointed.
On social media, attendees expressed dissatisfaction regarding the poor crowd and traffic control. A few fans said they were congested in the crowd, and a few others criticized the messy parking situation.
Bryan was welcomed in all the cities he performed in, but his Gurgaon concert became controversial because of the mismanagement of the event. Some fans blamed Zomato and its CEO, Deepinder Goyal, for selling more tickets than the venue’s capacity could hold. Others blamed the local authorities. They said that if the government could manage such a large event like Kumbh Mela, they could have managed Bryan’s concert better.
One of the attendants tweeted, “The organizers of Bryan Adams show, commendable job done selling 100k tickets, next time you do such an event, rent parking lots and inform with proper signs. It’s a no-smoking zone, so you should not sell at the venue.”

Another posted, “Bryan Adams’ music is from my teens. Incredible that he’s still performing at this level, decades later. Great performance in Gurgaon. Terrible organisation & traffic management. Can’t believe the same people who pull off a Kumbh Mela can make such a mess at other times.”

One user shared an “horror tale of parking” after seeing a nightmare of parking at Bryan Adams’ concert last night in Gurgaon. “Vehicles stopped 800 meters from the concert venue. Look at the Creta’s rear tyre hanging in the air.”

Another fan added, “Lovely to watch Bryan Adams perform in Gurgaon, but this was easily the worst arranged concert I’ve been at anywhere. Traffic gridlock, garbage everywhere, the crowd was fab, however, and that and the music made up for it.”

A concert attendee noted, “Went 2 the Bryan Adams concert. The music was great but there was a really large crowd and I was suffocated. Daughter had nowhere 2 sit after standing for so long, a shame. Only one food stall, chaotic parking w only 1 entrance n exit, little to no planning. Could not see any happy returning faces. Definitely could’ve been better.”
