PALGHAR: A heartbreaking incident unfolded in Maharashtra’s Palghar district when a four-year-old girl tragically lost her life after falling from the fourth floor of a 19-storey building in Virar. The family was residing in a rented apartment on the fourth floor. While the child’s mother left to accompany her father to the railway station, the girl awoke and, finding herself alone, peered out of the bedroom window. A vigilant resident discovered her on the ground and rushed her to a nearby hospital, but the child was declared dead on arrival. The grieving family has decided to donate her eyes, as the police continue their investigation into the accidental death.
