Ahead of the Lok Sabha and Haryana Assembly elections to be held next year, political parties are on toes to prove their mettle. The political bigwigs of the state are leaving no stone unturned to prove their dominance over each other. and three political families of the state are eyeball to eyeball in Hisar seat of Haryana. BJP veteran Chaudhary Virendra Singh has been staking claim on the seat for a long time On the other hand, BJP’s ally JJP and the party leader Dushyant Chautala who holds the portfolio of the Deputy Chief Minister also has announced to field the party candidate claiming right on Hisar seat. The political battle for the seat which was considered to be between two families earlier, seems to be turning triangular. Kuldeep Bishnoi, who joined BJP last year is openly expressing his claim to contest elections from this seat. The ongoing battle for Hisar seat has also become interesting as two of the claimants Virendra Singh and Kuldeep Bishnoi are in BJP. On the other hand, JJP is an ally of BJP in the government.

All three political families have been at loggerheads over the seat for a long time. In such a situation, whoever contests from this seat and wins, his stature is most likely to have a new height in the state politics. Due to this, the fight between BJP and JJP regarding contesting elections has intensified. Kuldeep Bishnoi also has political ambitions and is repeatedly making claims on Hisar seat stating that ‘’i have a strong claim on the seat. Hisar is also my family. This is my home and my fortress. How can I leave my family?’’ . The way BJP leader Kuldeep Bishnoi and Dushyant Chautala are repeatedly saying that their claim on Hisar seat is strong,is likely to increase the problems of Birendra Singh and his MP son Brijendra Singh. In a bid to preserve his political existence and legacy, Birendra Singh is continuously putting pressure on BJP to bring the alliance with JJP. For some time now, Virendra Singh is not in a strong position in his own party as per his expectations, while on the other hand, Kuldeep Bishnoi has got a lot of attention in BJP. On the other hand, Dushyant Chautala and he are also face to face regarding Uchana seat. In view of the whole situation, Virendra Singh is seen somewhere in the political corridors in deep contemplation and churning about his situation.
