In a series of unfortunate events, three accidents unfolded within a mere 100 yards on the National Highway near Khanna-Doraha, resulting in a collision involving around 20 vehicles. Thankfully, no casualties were reported in these incidents. However, due to the mishaps, the National Highway bridge near Rajgarh had to be temporarily closed, redirecting traffic to service lanes. The accidents occurred on the Amritsar-Delhi Highway.

The initial accident took place on the bridge near Rajgarh cantor, involving a collision between four to five vehicles. As the police arrived and commenced clearing the scene, another collision occurred a short distance away, involving four to five more vehicles. Simultaneously, yet another accident unfolded at a different location, leading to a collision between multiple vehicles.

During the initial cold spell in Khanna, over 100 vehicles collided within a 3-kilometer stretch, resulting in some injuries. At that time, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann expressed his condolences through a tweet and directed the police to manage the situation. The police responded promptly without delay, with SP (H) Gurpreet Kaur Purewal, DSP Nikhil Garg, Traffic Incharge Hardeep Singh, SHO Vijay Kumar, and SHO Santokh Singh, along with the police force, swiftly reaching the scene. The affected vehicles were efficiently cleared from the National Highway.
