Under the auspices of His Highness Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President of the UAE, Deputy Prime Minister, Head of the Presidential Court, and Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Khalifa Educational Award, the third international conference titled “Education from Empowerment to the Future” is scheduled to take place on May 14th and 15th at the Emirates Palace Hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The conference aims to evaluate prominent global experiences in early education, explore forward-looking visions aligned with the accelerating pace of technology in education, exchange global experiences and ideas to enrich the educational environment, devise innovative educational policies, and contribute to enhancing the quality of educational outcomes and the role of educational institutions and bodies. Furthermore, it seeks to anticipate future job trends and labor market dynamics to establish appropriate educational frameworks and systems, while also engaging with creative ideas to formulate integrated strategies and policies for educational development.

Amal Al-Afifi, Secretary-General of the Khalifa Educational Award, emphasizes the significance of the conference as it embodies the message of the Khalifa Educational Award and its role in promoting excellence locally, regionally, and internationally. Supported by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, the conference aligns with the ongoing educational advancements and leadership observed across all levels of the country’s education sector.

Al-Afifi notes that the conference will feature the participation of experts and specialists in education and early childhood education from various parts of the world. The agenda will include scientific topics, working papers, research, studies, and practical workshops. The first day’s program includes a main session titled “Education: Results and Achievements – The Empowerment Stage,” along with sessions focusing on early education needs and aspirations, digital education, and preparation for a sustainable future.

The second day’s program features a main session titled “Education Policies, Structures, and Systems: Policies Shaping the Future of Education,” along with three additional sessions addressing various aspects of the future of education. The conference emphasizes practical aspects in its activities, equipping participants with skills to advance the educational process amidst rapid technological advancements.

Al-Afifi underscores that the conference serves as a platform for spreading a culture of excellence on local, regional, and international levels. A dedicated pavilion will showcase specialized educational and community awards, enabling participants to engage with them. Al-Afifi invites professionals in the field to participate in the practical sessions and workshops, contributing to the conference’s mission of spreading excellence in education and exchanging insights on global best practices in education and early childhood education.
