The National Investigation Agency (NIA) submitted the third chargesheet in the Lawrence Bishnoi and Babbar Khalsa International terror gangster network case, bringing the total accused charged by the NIA to 21. The recent charge sheet includes crucial details of the accused individuals’ involvement in terror-related activities. Four persons—Darman Singh alias Darmanjot Kahlon, Parveen Wadhwa alias Prince, Yudhvir Singh alias Sadhu, and Vikas Singh—are named in the chargesheet.

The NIA initially filed a chargesheet on March 24 against 14 accused, followed by the first supplementary chargesheet on August 9 against three additional individuals. All of the defendants face criminal conspiracy charges under Section 120(B) of the Indian Penal Code as well as Sections 17, 18, and 18(B) of the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act of 1967.

Parveen is one of the associates of the Lawrence Bishnoi terror syndicate, said the NIA, adding he was a “linchpin” in the dissemination of vital information among the members of the terror gang. “Investigations indicate that Parveen was instrumental in coordinating communication channels, enabling seamless interactions among gang members, even those incarcerated in different jails,” said the NIA.

Darman Singh, operating from the United States, is a key link between Lakhbir Singh alias Landa of Babbar Khalsa International and the Lawrence Bishnoi terror and crime syndicate. Parveen is an associate of the Lawrence Bishnoi terror syndicate and is described as a “linchpin” in disseminating crucial information among gang members. Yudhvir is identified as the chief arms procurer for the Lawrence Bishnoi terror syndicate, specializing in facilitating arms and ammunition procurement from foreign countries. Vikas Singh, associated with the Lawrence Bishnoi gang, provided sanctuary to gang members involved in terror attacks, including the Rocket Propelled Grenade (RPG) attack at the Punjab Police State Intelligence Headquarters in Mohali.

According to the NIA, it has seized weapons, ammunition, incriminating digital devices, and documents from the accused. The investigation uncovered hideouts in Haryana, Punjab, and Uttar Pradesh that were used to house gangsters and store weapons.
