Union Aviation Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia got emotional on a programme called ‘Manch’, organised India News, recently as he recalled the history Scindia family and emphasised their contribution to the national freedom struggle. Expressing how the valour of the Scindias stood strong, the minister spoke about how Britishers distorted our history and contributed to the misleading documentation of our glorious past.
“Three thousand troops under Jankoji Rao Scindia were martyred fighting Britishers. From 1785 to 1803, the valour of the Scindias stood strong to combat the foreigners,” said Scindia.
