The ideal style of versification that consists the ascending word- order in a quatrain is popularly called Arbindonean Racy Style of Versification in Indian English poetry while Indianised version of sonnets that is called Arbindonean Sonnets exhumes Indian essence worldwide. Excerpts from a conversation with the Phrasal King Arbind Kumar Choudhary :

Q 1.: Prof. NDR Chandra has called you second Keats of English literature while Prof. SC Dwivedi calls you Indian Keats. Where do you find yourself in the writings ?
AKC : There are a number of professors and critics who love my writings at their heart and soul? There are few of them who have gone through my poetic groves and ,lastly, commented positively. I am thankful to all of them who support my writings morally and philosophically. I am a literary soldier of the vast world of literature where my duty is to fight for sake of literary whirlwind around my surroundings and nothing else.

Q 2. : Why do you justify the strife of life? What is your philosophy of life?
AKC: Life is a crown of thorns rather than a bed of roses. Life is meant to embrace the challenge of it, be it good or bad, vital or fatal, and permanent or temporary. Life is to fight with a series of problems and , lastly, win over them because strife of life is better than ever. Paupers are the time’s best jewels who sacrifice much for the sake of the society and in return get humiliation and hellish life?It is the sacrifice that makes the purpose of life fruitful in the days to come. It is the misery that flourishes the success of treasury in life. It is the sorrow that makes a man hero of tomorrow.

Q3. : Why have you been called the originator of Indianised version of Sonnets? What are the salient features of your sonnets?
AKC : My sonnets consist seven rhymed couplets quite different from Spenserian or Shakespearean or Miltonic sonnets.Secondly, it has its Indian poetic essence deeply rooted in Indian soil . Thirdly, native words are also found besides colloquial and compound words .Fourthly, its unique versification and rhyme pattern make me an Indian sonneteer in English literature. All sonnets focus only on Indian literary legends and their literary contents .

Q4. : Your precious message for youngsters if any.
AKC: They are the rising sun of the poetic world, not the noon of the day. As a result they must be honest, voracious readers and, above all, innovatives in their literary works. No one can prohibit them from permanent berth in the poetic world if poetry becomes their passion, not profession.

Q5.:Are you a mere puppet of the creative milieu? How can you distinguish yourself from others ?
AKC: I am a devoted literary soldier by passion, not profession. I have propounded my philosophy of life , nature, love and poetry in Melody, Nature, Love and The Poet respectively.

The racy style of versification, Indianized version of sonnets, blending of Indian and western mythology, blending of Aurobindonean and the Ezekielean School of Poetry ,blending of Keatsean and Popean poetic trends, abundance of explored , new, compound , phrasal and proverbial words etc. are the distinctive features of the creative groves.
