1. How does Genesis ensure Holistic Learning with the latest curriculum standards?
Genesis Global School is laying the foundation for students and preparing 21st-century citizens for today and tomorrow. We ensure that students get ample exposure to futuristic education through a modern learning model, integrating programmes such as Robotics, Design & Technology, etc. In addition to classroom learning, equal importance is given to the holistic development of students through world-class sports infrastructure, athletic center, performing arts center and specialized laboratories.
Providing both CBSE and international IB curriculum, Genesis adheres to the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which is in tune with the shift in India’s educational landscape. It aligns with the global standard and also provides a modern outlook to the students. Genesis as an educational institution and centre for learning strives towards ensuring that students have the skills and information necessary to flourish in an increasingly linked world.
The campus has a multimedia library with over 14,000 books, 15 specialised labs, 117 classrooms with wifi connectivity throughout, along with a world-class, 432 seating-capacity auditorium, thereby setting new standards for international education in India.

2. In what ways do you support teachers in addressing the diverse learning needs of K-12 students?
The motto of Genesis Global School is to produce students who are confident, full of enthusiasm and concerned about justice and idealism. Our faculty is committed to empowering students with multi-faceted growth and turning into global adults with a global perspective toward life. The need of the hour is to focus on equipping educators with the advanced skills required to implement new policies, learning models and curriculums. Genesis ensures that each faculty member has the requisite skills for modern education needs. It is a continuous practice to conduct workshops and training programmes for teachers and other faculty members with subject matter experts. Adhering to NEP further enshrines provisions for teacher training courses that focus on equipping educators with advanced skills.

3. Can you discuss any specific initiatives or programs implemented by Genesis Global School for skill integration in education?
INTEGRATION OF SKILL-BASED LEARNING WITH ACADEMIC ACTIVITIES
At GENESIS GLOBAL SCHOOL, we provide a broad range of skill modules/subjects across middle school, secondary school, and senior school in order to meet the objectives of NEP 2020.
To ensure the smooth integration of skill-based learning with regular academic subjects, we ensure that the following pedagogical principles are being followed:

1. Pedagogical Approach – We use a combination of enquiry, hands-on and didactic approaches.
In travel and tourism – Our students prepare travel brochures and prepare itineraries for their favourite destinations.
2. Mix of Theory and Practice – We plan a judicious mix and practice. We ensure that the proportion of hands-on work must be higher than that for theoretical understanding.
Our Grade 9 Banking and Insurance students know how to open a bank account and how to fill up the bank account opening form.
3. Learning as close to Real Life as Possible –
In Artificial Intelligence – Debates on various aspects of AI are conducted from time to time in the classroom as part of their regular learning modules.
We take our students to nearby banks, factories, healthcare facilities, etc to give them real exposure to the subjects they are learning in school.
Some of our students visited Yes Bank and attended a full-day workshop conducted by Yes Bank officials, some completed their internship at Barista, and some visited Amritsar to learn more about tourism, in addition to these activities we also created temporary setups in our school in collaboration with various brands like last year in collaboration with Eicher Motors, sessions on Automotive Skills were conducted in school premises.

4. How do you approach classroom management and maintain a positive learning environment?
The learning model enabled by Genesis is in tune with the changing times. We foster a positive learning environment through a multi-pronged approach. While we have shifted the focus from memorization to skill development, we ensure regular review of curriculums and education models. Continuous evaluation and updating of the curriculum ensure its relevance in a rapidly changing world.
Balancing technology, sustainability, concepts, and life skills reflects the multifaceted demands of modern society. We have moved away from traditional exams to reduce stress and encourage a healthier learning environment. Assessments should reflect students’ understanding and application of knowledge rather than their ability to memorize information. Project-based learning has become the way to teach young minds new ideas.
We also ensure that education caters to the diverse needs of all students and promotes a more equitable and supportive learning environment. By bringing real-world contexts into the classroom we help students understand the relevance of their learning and develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Ultimately we involve all stakeholders, including policymakers, educators, parents, and students, in the reform process, thus ensuring that decisions are informed and reflective of the needs of the entire education community.

5. How do you effectively integrate and balance the dual curricula offered to provide a seamless learning experience for students?
In continuation to providing personalised educational experiences- Genesis also ensures a multitude of choices to parents who choose to have their child with the school- IB & CBSE curriculum, various admission plans, day school and boarding options, parent-child programme, more than 15 sports, selection of various performing arts and languages-all create a holistic package that can be as unique as the student itself!
