Recently, BlueOne Ink released The Eternal Feminine, written by Dr. Alok Gupta, which reimagines the spirit of feminism and embodies the ancient myths, legends, and folklore to reawaken the powerful image of women. The book attempts to explore stories about women who have been worshipped down the ages, and it recognises their power and fortitude. The book tells us that the gender that is often beheld with the eyes of ignorance actually entombs not only the power of creation but also the force, wisdom, strength, and love to steer life in a forward and moving direction. The book is, indeed, a modern-day attempt by the author to help the world rediscover the vigor, force, and energy that is inside every woman. It also seeks to tell us more about the mystics and spiritual culture of India.

Book cover of ‘The Eternal Feminine’ by Dr Alok Pandey.

Dr. Alok Pandey completed his MD in Psychiatry from the Armed Forces Medical College, Pune, and has served in the Indian Air Force. He grew up in a family with rich spiritual values and has been captivated by ancient myths and legends since his childhood. He received his spiritual awakening through the internal yoga of Sri Aurobindo. Dr. Pandey has written extensively on a variety of topics. However, it is the worship of the divine mother, Shakti that holds the fascination of the heart. This is often reflected in his current work. As he said while in conversation with Partho, the Editor-in-Chief of BluOne Ink, he, today, also recognises that the feminine aspect has almost always disintegrated into the background. Hence, his current book is a tribute to the Divine Mother as well as to feminine power. He feels that this book will motivate the readers to see women in a different light—as the embodiment of the ultimate divine power—thus giving them the strength, wisdom, and ability to face life with greater faith and mental strength.

As he put it, and we completely agree, The Eternal Feminine is, most definitely, an excellent read for those looking to explore the divinity and historical female figures that were responsible for setting the course of the future as we now live.
