Rajasthan is currently experiencing foggy conditions, but there may be a potential relief from these conditions in the upcoming days. As per the Meteorological Department’s information, a shift in winds from the north-west direction is expected to commence from Monday. This change in wind direction may bring about a decrease in temperature along with an increase in pollution levels. The Meteorological Department indicates that the weather is expected to remain clear for the next week. However, a shift in the weather pattern is anticipated from November 27, with the possibility of light rain in some areas.
On Monday, there was light fog in the rural areas of Ganganagar, Bikaner and Hanumangarh. At present, the temperature of many cities including Jaipur and Ajmer remains stable. The minimum temperature in Mount Abu was recorded at 8 degrees Celsius. Ganganagar in northern Rajasthan recorded a temperature of 13.7 degrees Celsius, Churu 11.5 and Jaipur 15.8 degrees Celsius.
The minimum temperature recorded in Jodhpur, Bikaner last night was 17 degrees Celsius.
The temperature in Jaisalmer and Udaipur also reached 15 degrees Celsius. Meteorologists say that the temperature is expected to remain like this for the next 3-4 days. However, in some places, a drop of up to one or two degrees Celsius may occur in two to four days.
Change in weather may be seen in Rajasthan from 27th November. A major Western Disturbance will be active in the Jammu-Kashmir and Ladakh areas of North India from 26 to 27 November, whose impact can also be seen in the plains.
Due to the effect of this system, the sky may become cloudy in the northwestern parts of Rajasthan. There may also be light rain in some places.
