Telangana BJP MLA T. Raja Singh, who was banned by Facebook from its platform on Thursday for what it called violating its policy around content promoting violence and hate, has come up with his version of the entire incident.
He accused Facebook of working under the influence of the Congress party. He also criticized Rahul Gandhi for making false statements and hate speeches against Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Singh told The Daily Guardian, “I have no official Facebook account. My followers run it. They were illegally banned by Facebook without any intimation. Congress leader Rahul Gandhi spoke against me a couple of days ago.”
“Rahul and Asaduddin Owaisi have made many hate speeches against the Nation. I demand their accounts should be banned first. I will ask our Information and Broadcasting Minister to write to the FB to allot an official account. I abide by all rules and regulations. I protect ‘Dharma and cows’, Is that my mistake? “The FB must delete the accounts of Rahul Gandhi and Owaisi. I will write a letter in this regard”, Singh added further.
Raja Singh claimed that he did not have an FB account since April 2019. His account was hacked and he lodged a complaint with the cybercrime police of Hyderabad.
He questioned the FB how he can be a dangerous person, who has been elected by the people. He said that he is going to fight against the biased policies of Facebook.
Facebook on Thursday banned BJP politician T Raja Singh from its platform and Instagram for violating its policy around content promoting violence and hate.
“We have banned Raja Singh from Facebook for violating our policy prohibiting those that promote or engage in violence and hate from having a presence on our platform, a Facebook spokesperson said in an emailed statement.
