TDP Mourns The Loss Of Ex-MLA Nara Ramamurthy Naidu

At a condolence gathering held at the TDP office on Saturday, leaders remembered him as a champion of the underprivileged and a people’s leader.

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) leaders expressed profound grief over the sudden demise of Nara Ramamurthy Naidu, former party MLA and younger brother of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu.

At a condolence gathering held at the TDP office on Saturday, leaders remembered him as a champion of the underprivileged and a people’s leader. Floral tributes were offered to his portrait as a mark of respect.

Ramamurthy Naidu, aged 72, passed away on Saturday due to a cardiac arrest at AIG Hospitals in Gachibowli, Hyderabad.

Speaking at the occasion, TDP State President Palla Srinivas Rao and Politburo Member Varla Ramaiah remembered Ramamurthy Naidu as a humanitarian who worked tirelessly to unite people. They highlighted his unwavering commitment to public welfare and his relentless contributions to the success of the TDP.

The leaders lauded his ideals, noting that Ramamurthy Naidu envisioned a society free from injustice and aspired to create a “Rama Rajya” (a utopian state of governance). They emphasized that his kindness and humanity had earned him a lasting place in the hearts of the people, individuals like him are rare. Though he is no longer with us, they said, he will always be remembered by the people.

The meeting was attended by several prominent figures, including former MLA Peela Govind Satyanarayana, Chairman of the AP State Organic Products Certification Authority Shyaval Devadath, Gouda Corporation Chairman Gurumurthy, Chairperson of the Handloom Cooperative Sajja Hemalatha, President of the Minority Cell Mustaq Ahmed, Media Coordinator Dharapaneni Narendra Babu, Convener of the Brahmin Welfare Committee Bucchirampasad, TDP State Spokesperson Patharla Ramesh, TDP Central Office Reception In-Charge Haji Hasan Basha, NRI Cell Representative Chappidi Rajasekhar, along with party leaders Shankar Naidu, Ravi Yadav, Mulaka Satyavani, and Peerayya Subhashini, among others.
