The fake profile, which humorously exaggerates Sitharaman’s role as Finance Minister, has gone viral, with many amused by its witty descriptions, while others express discomfort and concern.
The satirical profile lists Sitharaman as a 24-year-old with the amusing title “Chief Tax Slayer at Ministry.” Accompanied by a photo of Sitharaman, the bio humorously reads, “I don’t believe in love at first sight, but I do believe in GST on everything you own. I’ve raised more taxes than your ex raised red flags. Swipe right if you’re into women who can deduct happiness, itemize suffering, and maximize your stress.” The profile continues with its humorous take, stating, “I’m not your girlfriend; I’m your liability.”
