Sweden is set to organise a sex championship this month, and this news has spread like wildfire. People have turned to the internet to express their views. The first time the details regarding the championship appeared on Twitter, and since then, social media has been abuzz.
The event will get underway on June 8 and continue for several weeks. Participants will have to compete for six hours each day.
However, some sources are saying that the news is fake, the proposal was dismissed in April this year, as per the Swedish news outlet Goterborgs-Posten.
A federation of sex has been flourishing in Sweden, and its chief, Dragan Bractic, called to host a championship in which it would be revealed about the impact of the physical and mental health of sex on human beings.
Meanwhile, the federation’s application to become a member of the National Sports Confederation was denied, Goterborgs-Posten said in its April 26 report.
However, Mr Bractic submitted his application this year in January.
It failed to meet our requirements, and I can inform you that this application has been rejected. We have other things to do,” the sports federation’s chief, Bjorn Eriksson, told the local news outlet.
Mr Bractic has the distinction of running many strip clubs in Sweden, and he wants to classify sex as a sport.
As per the unauthorised tweets, the activities or events will have duration of 45 minutes to one hour. It is further mentioned that there would be 16 overall disciplines, and each participant could score five to ten points.
The competition is divided in different segments such as seduction, oral sex, penetration, appearance, body massages, exploring erotic zones, position changes, creativity in the positions, number of orgasms, and endurance.
As per the unconfirmed information, 20 people have already registered for the events.
The Swedish authorities are tight lipped and not able to answer regarding the championship.
