The Supreme Court of India is scheduled to hear Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal’s plea challenging his arrest by the Enforcement Directorate on April 15. This follows the Delhi High Court’s recent decision to uphold his arrest by the central agency.

A bench comprising Justices Sanjiv Khanna and Dipankar Datta will be presiding over the matter, according to news agency ANI.

Arvind Kejriwal was taken into custody by the Enforcement Directorate last month as part of a money laundering investigation related to the Delhi excise policy case. Last week, a Delhi court remanded him to judicial custody until April 15.

Kejriwal subsequently approached the Supreme Court after the Delhi High Court ruled that there had been no violation of legal provisions in his case.
