The Supreme Court E-Committee constituted conducted a two-day Digital Accessibility Training for visually challenged the court staff from the District and the Taluk courts which being from across the Court on May 15 and May 16, 2023 at the IIPA, New Delhi.
The Division bench comprising of Chief Justice of India, Dr Justice D.Y. Chandrachud in the case observed and has made the digital infrastructure of the Indian judicial system being more accessible to persons with disabilities is one of the core components of the e-Committee of the Supreme Court of India, which is to be executed.

It has been stated that the two-day training was being held in the Hands-on training model where each participant was to be given Laptop loaded with the accessibility software like NVDA, Jaws etc and that the special educators from NIVH and NAB took of the handbook trainingwhich being in using various assistive technologies, including the accessible reading of court documents, accessible documentation and the note-making in the digital work environment; creating the Digital Accessible format; using of the Internet and judgement searching through the eSCR portal, the judgement search portal using the screen readers; smartphone-based assistive technologies, and also input in the regional languages.
Therefore, the court staff who is working in the District and Taluk courts of Delhi, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Orissa, Madras, Punjab And Haryana, the Himachal Pradesh, Rajasthan, Jharkhand and Telangana were being trained of in the 3rd batch of the digital accessibility training programme.

However, the Director General of IIPA S. N. Tripathi distributed the certificates to the participants for completing the participants which being on the completion of the training programme.
