The Supreme Court Collegium Recommended Justice Dharmesh Sharma sworn in as An Additional Judge Of Delhi High Court.
The Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma administered the oath of Justice Dharmesh Sharma. The appointment made was notified by the Union Government earlier this week.
Chief Justice Satish Chandra Sharma, who being an officer of Delhi Higher Judicial Services, was earlier Principal District and Sessions Judge of Dwarka Courts i.e., the South West District.

Therefore, the announcement for the appointment of Justice Dharmesh Sharma was made by Law Minister Kiren Rijiju on Twitter. Thus, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju wrote that in exercise of power conferred under the Constitution, Shri Dharmesh Sharma, Judicial Officer is being appointed as the Additional Judge of Delhi High Court. Thus, Law Minister Kiren Rijiju extend best wishes to him.

The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended names of three judicial officers for their appointment as additional judges of the Delhi High Court in the month of April which includes Sharma. Other two judges, Girish Kathpalia and Manoj Jain, who were also appointed as the additional judges of the High Court last month.
