The Supreme Court Collegium has recommended the names for the appointment as chief justices of five High Courts

The names are as follows:

Justice Arun Bhansali, the Judge of Rajasthan High Court as the Chief Justice of the Allahabad High Court
The Supreme Court Collegium stated that his contribution to the judiciary by way of disposal of cases, during his tenure of nearly eleven years as the Judge of the High Court, he has authored more than 1230 reported judgments.
Justice Arun Bhansali has acquired extensive experience in dispensing justice in the Rajasthan High Court and he is being considered to be a competent judge with sound legal acumen and, would therefore be an eminently suitable choice to be elevated as Chief Justice of the largest High Court in the country.

Justice Vijay Bishnoi, the Judge of Rajasthan High Court as the Chief Justice of the Gauhati High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium stated that his contribution to the judiciary by way of disposal of cases, during his tenure of nearly eleven years as a Judge of High Court, he has authored 652 reported judgments.
Justice Vijay Bishnoi has acquired extensive experience in dispensing the justice in the Rajasthan High Court and he has maintained a high order of professional ethics at the Bar and the Bench. Thus, the conduct of him and the integrity are beyond reproach.
The Supreme Court Collegium recommended his name while consideration the fact that at present the Rajasthan High Court which is parent High Court of Mr Justice Bishnoi is not represented among the Chief Justices of the High Courts.

Justice Manindra Mohan Shrivastava, the Judge of Rajasthan High Court as the Chief Justice of the Rajasthan High Court
The Supreme Court Collegium stated that his contribution to the judiciary by way of disposal of cases, during his tenure of over 14 years as a Judge of High Court, he has authored more than 505 reported judgments. Justice Mahindra has acquired considerable experience of dispensing justice in two High Courts.
The Supreme Court Collegium recommended his name while consideration the fact that the High Court of Chhattisgarh which is his parent High Court does not have any representation among the Chief Justices of the High Courts.

Justice BR Sarangi, the Judge of Orissa High Court as the Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court
The Supreme Court Collegium stated that his contribution to the judiciary by way of disposal of cases, during his tenure of more than 10 years as the Judge of High Court, Justice Sarangi has authored more than 1056 reported judgments and Justice BR Sarangi has also acquired considerable experience in dispensing justice in the High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium recommended his name while consideration the fact that after the retirement of Mr Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra, there would be no representation of the High Court of Orissa among the Chief Justices of the High Courts.

Justice Sheel Nagu, the Judge of Madhya Pradesh High Court as the Chief Justice of the Punjab and Haryana High Court
The Supreme Court Collegium stated that his contribution to the judiciary by way of disposal of cases, during his tenure of over 12 years as a Judge of the Madhya Pradesh High Court, he has authored more than 499 reported judgments. Justice Sheel has also acquired extensive experience in dispensing justice at the High Court. Thus, he being the seniormost puisne Judge in his parent High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium recommended his name while consideration the fact that the High Court of Madhya Pradesh is already represented by a Chief Justice among the Chief Justices of the High Courts.
