The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended the names for the elevation of four Advocates as the Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium bench comprising of Chief Justice of India Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, and Justice Sanjiv Khanna, has recommended the names for the appointment of four advocates as the Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
1.Shri Vinay Saraf,
2.Shri Vivek Jain,
3.Shri Ashish Shroti, and
4.Shri Amit Seth.
The Supreme Court Collegium in its resolution dated 17.10.2023 stated that the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court in consultation with his two senior-most colleagues made the said recommendation, and that the Chief Minister and the Governor of the State of Madhya Pradesh have also concurred with the recommendations made and were also being placed in the file about the suitability or otherwise of the above candidates.
Further, the Supreme Court Collegium resolution stated that the inter se seniority shall be fixed as per the existing practice.
