The Supreme Court Collegium had recommended the names for the elevation of five Judicial Officers as the Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium bench comprising of Chief Justice of India Dhananjaya Y Chandrachud, Justice Sanjay Kishan Kaul, and Justice Sanjiv Khanna, has recommended the names for the appointment of five Judicial Officers as the Judges of the Madhya Pradesh High Court.
1.Shri Rajendra Kumar Vani,
2.Shri Pramod Kumar Agrawal,
3.Shri Binod Kumar Dwivedi,
4.Shri Devnarayan Mishra, and
5.Shri Gajendra Singh.
The Supreme Court Collegium in its resolution dated 17.10.2023 stated that the Chief Justice of the Madhya Pradesh High Court in consultation with his two senior-most colleagues made the said recommendation, and that the Chief Minister and the Governor of the State of Madhya Pradesh have also concurred with the recommendations made.
Further, the Supreme Court Collegium resolution stated that the inter se seniority shall be fixed as per the existing practice.
