Supreme Court Collegium Appointed Three Judicial Officers As The Judge Of Delhi High Court

The Supreme Court Collegium recommended the names of three judicial officers for the appointment of judicial officer as the judge of Delhi High Court.
The three judges appointed of the Delhi Higher Judiciary are as follows:
Girish Kathpalia
The Supreme Court Collegium in its statement published on 12.04.2023, wherein the SC Collegium stated that the Judgment Evaluation Committee has graded the judgments authored by all three judges as an ‘outstanding’
The Supreme Court Collegium also stated that Kathpalia is the senior-most member of the Delhi Higher Judicial Service and it has also been reported by the Intelligence Bureau that Girish Kathpalia has a good personal and the professional image and that nothing adverse has come to the notice which being against the integrity of Kathpalia.
The Supreme Court Collegium statement published stated that this court is of the opinion of consultee-Judges with regard to his suitability for elevation.
Dharmesh Sharma
The Supreme Court Collegium stated that the inputs of the Intelligence Bureau have been evaluated and it has also been observed by the court that the conduct and the work performance of Dharmesh Sharma.
Further, The Supreme Court Collegium observed that the Judgment Evaluation Committee has graded judgments authored by Sharma as ‘outstanding’
Manoj Jain.
The Supreme Court Collegium in the statement published mentioned that the Intelligence Bureau has reported that Jain has a good personal and professional image and that nothing adverse has come to notice against the integrity of Manoj Jain.
The Supreme Court Collegium recommended three
Judicial Officers, who are to be appointed as Judges of the High Court of Delhi.
(1) S/Shri Girish Kathpalia,
(2) Dharmesh Sharma, and
(3) Manoj Jain, Judicial Officers
Further, the Supreme Court Collegium stated that their inter se seniority be fixed as per the existing practice.
