Jailed Delhi chief minister Arvind Kejriwal’s wife Sunita Kejriwal once again on Thursday read his message sent from jail.

“In his message, Kejriwal asked his MLAs to visit their constituencies regularly,” read Sunita Kejriwal.

Through a press conference, Sunita Kejriwal made public the message given by the Delhi CM and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal from jail.

In his message, he asked AAP MLAs to visit their areas daily and ensure people don’t face any problems, Sunita Kejriwal said. “Arvind Kejriwal has sent a message to all MLAs: ‘Just because I am in jail, the people of Delhi should not suffer in any way. Every MLA should visit their areas every day and discuss people’s problems and sort them out,” said Sunita Kejriwal.

Sunita Kejriwal generally stays away from politics, but after the arrest of her husband, she came up several times in public through video statements and shared the message of her husband.

In her last video message on Friday, March 29, Sunita Kejriwal announced the ‘Kejriwal ko Aashirwad’ campaign, urging people to support her husband. She said her husband has challenged the “most corrupt and dictatorial forces” in the country and asked people to support him through their blessings and prayers.

The Enforcement Directorate arrested Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal in a money laundering case linked to the now-scrapped Delhi excise policy. He is lodged in the Tihar jail under judicial custody till April 15.
