The Special Operation Group (SOG) arrested a police sub-inspector on Friday. Allegedly, he had used a dummy candidate to take the exam on his behalf, and now he was undergoing training at the Rajasthan Police Academy. He had previously served for 10 years in the Revenue Department as a Patwari. Based on the information provided by the SOG, Sanchor Police also apprehended the dummy candidate.
The Additional Director General (ADG), (ATS and SOG), mentioned that the dummy candidate, who impersonated and cleared the exam to become a Sub-Inspector, is Daluram Meena, son of Ramkhiladi Meena, residing in Mahuwa, Dausa. SOG received a complaint that SI Daluram Meena took the exam using a dummy candidate. After the dummy candidate passed the exam and secured the 1402nd rank, he was selected for the SI post. The complaint led to a confidential investigation.
Upon finding evidence during the investigation, the SOG team confronted Daluram, who was undergoing training in the RPAA. Initially, he denied the allegations.
However, when interrogated rigorously, he confessed to the truth. During the interrogation, he revealed that he had worked as a Patwari in the Revenue Department from 2014 to 2023.
In the Sub-Inspector Combined Competitive Exam 2021, he used a dummy candidate named Harichand alias Harish alias Harsanaram, a resident of Jodhawas Sanchor. Sanchor Police arrested the dummy candidate Harichand based on the information provided by SI Daluram Meena.
