National Unity Day will be celebrated in Ektanagar on the birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel on 31st October in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Before the arrival of the Prime Minister, Circuit House, Ekta Mall, and the Administrative Building, where the Statue of Unity is located, have been decorated with colorful lights. Apart from this, a special light and sound show has also been created at Narmada Maiyani Aarti, giving the devotees attending the Narmada Maiyani Aarti a unique experience of spiritual grandeur and divinity. Ektanagar, illuminated with grand lighting, remains a center of attraction for tourists. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate Sahakar Bhawan, built at a cost of Rs 81 crore, in Ekta Nagar today. This Sahakar Bhawan of the Gujarat State Cooperative Bank Limited has been constructed by a team of experts, including architects, PMC, consulting engineers, and interior designers.
Talking about the features of the cooperative building, accommodation has been provided for a total of 360 persons in the guest house building, including 5 VIP rooms and 28 deluxe rooms equipped with AC, TV, and WiFi, along with advanced furniture. An auditorium with seating capacity for approximately 300 persons and an advanced audio-video system has also been constructed to facilitate training and meetings. Adequate parking facilities are also available.
The Statue of Unity complex will become the new symbol of green development in Gujarat. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch and inaugurate five projects as part of a green initiative to preserve nature on the occasion of Sardar Patel Jayanti.
These projects include the introduction of 30 e-buses, 210 public bike-sharing facilities, the distribution of city gas by Gujarat Gas Limited, and the introduction of golf carts for the convenient transportation of tourists visiting Ektanagar. Furthermore, solar panels with a capacity of 4 MW will be inaugurated.
In addition to these initiatives, plans include the installation of solar panels at Parking 1, Parking 2, and Parking 3 to increase the current capacity of solar power generation from 1.4 MW to 4 MW, further enhancing solar energy production. This development of Ektanagar is aligned with nature conservation efforts.
