Due to the western disturbance, there has been continuous rain in various parts of the state for the past two days. After the rain, a drop in both day and night temperatures was observed in most cities of the state. On Tuesday morning, Shekhawati, Sri Ganganagar, Hanumangarh, Churu, and other places experienced dense fog. Visibility remained less than 100 meters in Sri Ganganagar and Hanumangarh due to fog.
However, now with clear weather and intense sunlight, the state will once again witness a rise in temperatures. The temperatures of 10 cities in the state dropped below 10 degrees. A drop of up to 5 degrees during the day and 8 degrees at night was recorded. The night in Sangaria was the coldest at 3.7 degrees, while Karauli recorded the highest drop of 8 degrees at night.
According to the Meteorological Department, the temperatures recorded were 5.1 for Sri Ganganagar, 5.5 for Sikar and Pilani, 6 for Mount Abu and Alwar, 7.2 for Karauli, 7.6 for Churu, 8.4 for Fatehpur, and 9.6 for Dholpur. Meanwhile, three cities experienced a cold day.
In Jaipur, after the rain, there was a decrease in both daytime and nighttime temperatures. The daytime temperature in Jaipur was normal, but at night, there was a drop of 4 degrees. The maximum temperature in Jaipur was recorded at 23, and the minimum temperature at 11.2 degrees.
The air in Jaipur cleared after the rain. Jaipur’s Air Quality Index entered the Green Zone. Before this, Jaipur’s AQI was in the Orange Zone for three consecutive weeks. On Tuesday, Jaipur’s air quality was recorded at 110. Besides, Shastri Nagar had an AQI of 98, Adarsh Nagar had 75, Police Commissionerate had 106, Murlipura had 147, Sanganer RICO had 127, and Mansarovar had 107.
