On December 18, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) will hold its 21st Apex Council Meeting. But BCCI still hasn’t disclosed the meeting’s location or time.

Confirmation of the minutes from the 20th Apex Council meeting, a discussion on BCCI match sponsorship, an update on the appointment of a service provider for video equipment to cover domestic matches, and consideration of any other matters the chairperson deems necessary to include on the agenda are all on the agenda, according to a release from BCCI.

During the ODI World Cup 2023, which India hosted, many records were broken. Nevertheless, it also noted that 1,250,307 people watched all 48 games at the Indian venues, breaking the previous record of 1,016,420 set during the 2015 World Cup in Australia and New Zealand.

The ‘Men in Blue’ continued their winning streak of ten games and gave an outstanding performance in the just finished prestigious competition. They were unable to defeat Australia in the decisive match, though.

The BCCI’s last Apex Council meeting took place in Mumbai on July 7. whereby the idea of the Impact Player—Syed Mushtaq Ali—was one of the several subjects covered by the highest body in Indian cricket.
