Mumbai Indians move to next stage, shattering RCB’s hope

With 5 balls remaining, GT successfully surpassed RCB’s 197. RCB has been eliminated! The Mumbai Indians have qualified for the playoffs There is no sound at all in the Chinnaswamy Stadium.
In the first innings, we saw a classic Kohli performance that helped RCB get very close to 200.
And another Indian batter responded with another beautiful century. GT only lost Saha during the powerplay while scoring 51. Vijay Shankar arrived at three and wasn’t hitting the ball with the greatest fluency, but he remained present as Gill carried on as usual.
The Gujarat opener kept the scoreboard ticking and ensured that the asking rate never went too high. Both the batters brought up their fifties and forged a 123-run stand. Shankar went 4 4 6 against Vijaykumar Vyshak before eventually perishing to the same bowler.
RCB did plug the flow of runs for a while as they managed to dismiss Shanaka and Miller.
But Gill was in the zone and he looked unstoppable.

RCB’s season came to another dismal end.
Faf du Plessis, captain of the RCB was very dissatisfied. He said after the match “we faced an extremely good team tonight, and Shubman scored an incredible hundred”.
In the second inning, it was really wet. Although it was wet throughout
the first innings as well, there wasn’t
much grip during the second,
and we frequently had to switch out the ball.
Virat gave us a chance with his incredible knock, and we believed the score was good; but, Shubman batted really well to win the game for him.
Earlier India’s ace batter Virat Kohli stole the show by breaking one
record after another with his
century in the Indian Premier League (IPL) match against Gujarat Titans at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium on Sunday.
Kohli’s masterful knock saw the star batter achieve this feat during a match against Gujarat Titans in their do-or-die match of IPL 2023.
It was Kohli’s seventh century in IPLs – overtaking the record set by Chris Gayle (6). However, RCB once again failed to reach the next stage.
