Due to his hamstring injury, bowler Kyle Jamieson will miss the final two One-Day Internationals (ODIs) in New Zealand’s three-match series against Bangladesh, thus the team is not taking any chances.

Jamieson did not participate in the first 50-over match in Dunedin on Sunday after complaining of hamstring stiffness during the Kiwis’ tour of Bangladesh.

After a year of recovering from a back ailment, the 28-year-old pacer who won Player of the Match in the first-ever ICC World Test Championship final in 2021 made his comeback in September 2023.

Ben Sears, who lacks experience slightly, will be part of the Blackcaps team for the last two One-Day Internationals. Jamieson should be well enough to play in the three-game T20I series that starts in Napier on December 27.
