Union Home Minister Amit Shah, who was on a three-day visit to Gujarat, held a meeting late at night. Many big leaders including Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and State BJP President CR Patil were present at this meeting. According to sources, in this long meeting, there was a discussion with the Lok Sabha regarding changes in the government and the party.
Before the India-Pakistan match, Union Home Minister Amit Shah reached Ahmedabad on the night of 13 October. On the same day, a meeting was held with the leaders of Gujarat at Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s residence in Delhi. The party wants to win all 26 seats at any cost to fight against the opposition I.N.D.I.A alliance in Gujarat in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. In such a situation, the party wants to activate those leaders who want to contest the Lok Sabha elections.
This meeting of Amit Shah in Gandhinagar is considered very important. Sources say that in the coming days, there may be changes in the Bhupendra Patel cabinet as well as the organization of the state government. While there is speculation about a change in the departments of some ministers of the current cabinet, there is also talk of dropping some ministers from the cabinet. There is discussion regarding the organization that soon general secretaries may be announced in the team of State President CR Patil. After Bhargav Bhatt’s departure and Pradeep Singh Jadeja’s resignation, the posts of two General Ministers have become vacant. It is expected that the party will keep the reins of the state in the hands of CR Patil till the 2024 elections. After declaring Narendra Modi as the Prime Ministerial candidate, the BJP marginalized the Congress in Gujarat. The party captured all 26 Lok Sabha seats in 2014 and 2019. The party wants a hat-trick of a clean sweep in the 2024 elections at any cost. Speculations about change in Gujarat BJP and government have been going on for a long time. There are 26 Lok Sabha seats in Gujarat. BJP has made a clean sweep in Gujarat for the last two terms.
