Simultaneously, Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar hinted at an impending cabinet expansion prior to the Monsoon Session of the Maharashtra Assembly. Observers speculate that the potential exit of CM Shinde might pave the way for Pawar, who has publicly expressed his aspiration to become the Chief Minister.
