On Sunday, Assembly Speaker Vasudev Devnani attended a Sindhi convention in Nagpur. Addressing the convention, he stated that the Sindhi community must actively participate in realizing India’s development aspirations. He mentioned that the Sindhi community is leading in trade and industry.
He further added, “We all need to become carriers of Indian culture and take pride in our motherland. The Sindhi language is ancient and melodious, and there is a need to discuss its development.”
Devnani said, “Efforts should be made to bring the Sindhi community to the forefront of the country’s economy globally. Sindhi culture is mentioned even in the national anthem. This is our identity, and we are connected with the country’s development at the soul level.”
He emphasised society aiding in the upliftment of the poor. India was, is, and will remain a world guru. Society needs to contribute to the development of all sectors of the country.
Devnani expressed gratitude for the affection and respect shown by the Sindhi community in Nagpur. He was felicitated by the Indian Sindhu Sabha and the Sindhi community for his role as the Speaker of the Rajasthan Legislative Assembly.
On this occasion, prominent members of the community including Ghanashyam Kukreja, Sant Shanmukh Das Udasi, Sant Damodardas, Sant Tulsidas Khushalani, and Pramila Muthrani were present.
