They stated that their decision was mutual and amicable, striving for a harmonious separation for the sake of their children. However, the situation took a legal turn when the Games Of Thrones star filed a lawsuit against the singer, demanding the return of their children. Sophie alleged that Joe Jonas was wrongfully detaining the children in New York City.
Further, she alleged that the singer currently holds their children’s passports and refuses to return them. In response, Joe Jonas’s representative issued a statement to US Weekly, calling the situation an unfortunate legal dispute.
