Sachin Bishnoi, the main accused in the Punjabi singer Sidhu Moose Wala murder case, has been arrested in Azerbaijan.
After the information of the arrest, the Punjab Police and the central investigative agencies are in touch with the Azerbaijan government. Efforts are on to extradite him.
According to police sources, Sachin Bishnoi is the brother of Lawrence Bishnoi, the kingpin of the main gang who conspired to kill Moose Wala.
Meanwhile, the location of gangster Lawrence’s brother Anmol has been found in Kenya. Both of them had gone out of India based on fake passports before the murder of Moose Wala.
Earlier on May 29, Moosewala was shot dead in Mansa and the Canadian-based gangster Goldie Brar of Lawrence Gang had claimed responsibility for the incident.
Sachin Bishnoi had reached Azerbaijan with a fake passport and he was caught there about a month ago.
Moreover, the extradition Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) and Punjab Police are working on this.
However, before the murder of Moosewala, Lawrence got Anmol and Sachin Bishnoi fake passports made. Lawrence conspired to kill Moose wala while sitting in Tihar Jail. Then Sachin and Anmol carried out the crime with gangster Goldie Brar sitting in Canada. He first got Moose Wala’s recce and then arranged for the shooters and weapons for them.
