Shishu Niketan Public School is organizing an NSS camp for 7 days from 6th February to 12th February, in which students of the NSS wing are participating in various activities.
On Thursday, NSS students visited Atawa, their adopted village, to spread awareness about a “clean and healthy environment.” Students went around the streets of the village and cleaned them. Through cleaning, the students conveyed the message of how villagers can also keep their streets clean at their own level. By maintaining cleanliness, diseases can be avoided during the rainy season in the future.

During this activity, the students made the villagers aware of the importance of cleanliness. Regional councilor Jasbir Singh Bunty met the students at the Gurudwara of village Atawa and appreciated the efforts being made by them to create awareness. Jasbir Singh Bunty mentioned that students play an important role in guiding the future of the country. He told the students that the National Service Scheme provides an opportunity for social service, motivating them toward constructive work and playing a crucial role in enhancing their personality.

It helps in grooming them as dutiful, sensitive, and useful citizens in the future. On this occasion, individuals such as Giani Revat Singh, Suraj Lal, Krishna Kumar, Sunil Kumar, etc., from Gurdwara Sahib, were also present
