Sharad Pawar, the NCP national president, expressed dissatisfaction with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s unfulfilled promises and highlighted the emphasis on cow and ‘gaumutra’ in the government’s agenda. Pawar, addressing the concluding day of the two-day NCP camp in Shirdi, drew parallels between BJP’s aggressive campaign and Adolf Hitler’s strategies.

Pawar pointed out unmet assurances, such as the pledge to double farmers’ income by 2022, and accused Modi of rarely attending Parliament, leaving members stunned with grandiose claims about government policies.

Comparing BJP’s campaign machinery to Hitler’s, Pawar raised concerns about its aggressiveness. He criticized the government’s focus on cow, ‘gaumutra’ (cow urine), and Golwalkar (RSS ideologue), claiming that it neglects marginalized sections of society.

Pawar also addressed reservation issues, urging the state government to provide reservation to the Maratha community without affecting the quota for the OBC community.

He criticized Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, highlighting unfulfilled promises made to the Dhangar community.

During the event, attended by NCP leaders including Supriya Sule, Jayant Patil, and Rohini Khadse, Pawar emphasized the need to address the demands for reservation from various communities and criticized the government’s stance against minority sections.
