BJP leader and Home Minister Amit Shah is scheduled to address public meetings in four states on June 10 and 11. These events are part of the party’s programs to commemorate the nine-year tenure of the Narendra Modi government.
Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh is one of the locations where Amit Shah will be holding a public meeting. The political environment in the region is filled with speculation about a possible alliance between the BJP and the Telugu Desam Party led by N Chandrababu Naidu. This speculation has arisen following a recent meeting between the two leaders in the national capital.
Shah’s upcoming public meeting in Andhra Pradesh on Sunday has generated significant interest, with people eagerly anticipating any messages regarding the BJP’s political plans for the state, particularly regarding a potential new alliance. It is noteworthy that the ruling YSR Congress in the state has been largely supportive of the central government on important matters thus far.
BJP president J P Nadda is also scheduled to address a public meeting in Tirupati in the state on June 10. He will also offer prayers at the Tirupati Balaji temple. On Saturday, Shah will address meetings at Patan in Gujarat and at Nanded in Maharashtra. Official sources said he will pay obeisance at the Hazur Abchalnagar Sahib Gurudwara in Nanded. He will address a meeting at Vellore in Tamil Nadu on Sunday before travelling to Andhra Pradesh.
