As Atlee directorial Jawan gears up to cross the Rs 1,000-crore mark globally, let’s check out the various box office records that the film would have broken once it enters the elite club. Within just 11 days of its release, the film has already crossed the Rs- 800 crore mark worldwide, with an astonishing domestic gross of over Rs 530 crore. The triumph of the films comes months after the Baadshah of Bollywood scripted history with Siddharth Anand directorial Pathaan.

For the unversed, Pathaan achieved a global box office collection of Rs 1,055 crore, with an impressive India gross of Rs 657.5 crore, making it the second highest- grossing Hindi film. Now, as Atlee directorial gears up to cross the Rs 1,000-crore mark globally, the film has firmly established itself as a box-office marvel. Currently, the film is the second-highest-grossing Indian film of 2023. It is also the fastest film to cross Rs 400 crore Hindi nett and to enter Rs 300 crore.

Jawan minted Rs 364.43 crore within seven days of its release. The record was earlier held by King Khan’s previous film Pathaan, which earned Rs 364.15 crore.

Also starring Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Sanya Malhotra and Sunil Grover, the film was released to acclaim on September 7. It also featured Deepika Padukone in a special appearance.
