SEBI, the capital markets regulator, has introduced the ‘Saa₹thi’ mobile app focused on personal finance for investors. This user-friendly app aims to simplify complex financial concepts and provide analytics through financial calculators on topics like KYC processes, mutual funds, ETFs, stock trading, investor grievance redressal, and online dispute resolution (ODR). It also offers educational videos to assist investors in their financial planning.

During the launch, Ananth Narayan G, Whole Time Member of SEBI, emphasized the app’s role as an unbiased and trusted source of investment information, particularly beneficial for young investors starting their financial journey. The app’s content is dynamic and regularly updated to reflect market changes, with SEBI welcoming public feedback to improve the app’s effectiveness.

The ‘Saa₹thi’ app is available for download on both Google Play Store and the iOS app store, providing investors with essential insights into the securities market. Additionally, SEBI has implemented initiatives like the SCORES Complaints Redress System (SCORES) to protect investors and enhance their understanding of investment complexities. This web-based platform enables investors to file grievances against SEBI-regulated entities, ensuring transparency and accountability in the market.
