As the elections are scheduled to be held in Madhya Pradesh next month the political turmoil has intensified in the state. There are many officers who have resigned from their jobs even before the elections. Some resignations have been accepted and some are still pending.

These days, Lavkushnagar SDM Nisha Bangre is being discussed in full swing regarding this matter. Nisha Bangre has come out in protest after her resignation was not accepted. She took a journey from Betul and reached Bhopal. During this time she was arrested. But she got bail late on Tuesday evening. As soon as Nisha came out of jail, the first thing Nisha did was hug her 3-year-old child. After that, the police took action against Bangre under Sections 151, 107 and 116.

Now she is adamant on getting her resignation accepted. Nisha wants to contest the elections, hence she wants to be relieved from her post. She alleged that she was being deprived of her right to freedom just because she was a Scheduled Caste woman. After getting bail, she has targeted Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan. Nisha Bangre has also accused the police of threatening to kill her. She alleged that Betul police had threatened to crush her with a dumper.

Nisha also accused the CM and said that the Chief Minister is committing hooliganism by using the power of the police. The police have treated her like a criminal, she alleged. This is happening only at the behest of the government. She said that if she had wanted to contest election on BJP ticket, her resignation would have been accepted by now. BJP is afraid that Amla may lose the seat, hence the government does not want to let her contest the elections. Nisha said that if the resignation is not accepted, then after the High Court, she will go to the Supreme Court. It has become difficult for an honest woman officer to work in Madhya Pradesh. “The government’s Ladli Behna scheme and claims of women’s safety are just a fraud,” she said.SDM Nisha Bangre, posted in Lavkushnagar, Chhatarpur, had resigned three months ago. But, the government did not accept it. Now she is adamant on getting her resignation accepted. She alleged that she was being deprived of her right to freedom just because she was a Scheduled Caste woman.
