The general elections in the country are in full swing. Elections are going on in seven phases in the country. The leaders are leaving no stone unturned to woo the voters to cast their vote in support of their respective party.

Following the suit, Union Minister Jyotiraditya Scindia is pulling out all the stops to secure victory in the upcoming elections. From early morning until late at night, he tirelessly conducts large public gatherings and is interacting with people to engage with the electorate. Besides he is also engaging in close meetings with people to tell them about the decisions and the welfare schemes of the Modi government. He has been telling people about the initiatives he and his government undertaken for the ordinary citizen, and what plans do they have for the future.

Referring to the Ujjwala scheme, Scindia is trying to assure the enthusiastic crowd that they need not worry as Prime Minister Modi is committed to providing piped gas to every household in villages, same as cities. Emphasizing India’s expanding global impact, he has been outlining, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s endeavors for rural development, encompassing robust housing, access to electricity, water supply, and distribution of free food grains. Moreover, he also mentions the inauguration ceremony of Ram’s statue in Ayodhya, punctuating his speech with chants in praise of Lord Shri Ram. Furthermore, he also has been singing praises of the governance of former Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan a while referring to the Ladli scheme.

Besides, in this political battle Scindia continues to receive support from Union Home Minister Amit Shah, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, former Chief Minister Uma Bharti who are conducting public meetings. Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also scheduled to visit Guna on the final day of campaigning on May 4, which might create a significant impact.

However, Scindia is predominantly conducting most of the programs alongside former Chief Minister Chouhan.

Chouhan is admired at large by the common people, especially the women because of the Ladli Yojana. Besides, his approach and strategy is also different this time. He is projecting himself as one from the masses. Despite the scorching heat, he spends considerable time conversing with ordinary people and is trying to break the ice. He is putting in effort to shed off his Maharaja persona. Today, he held two significant public gatherings alongside former Chief Minister Chouhan, one in Kolaras and the other in Bamori. The sizable crowds at both events indicate that Scindia’s popularity remains undiminished. Nevertheless, he continues to exert full force in his campaign efforts. In the 2019 elections, Scindia contested on a Congress ticket but faced defeat. This time, he is seeking electoral fortune with the same BJP, the party from which he previously suffered defeat.
Although he talks about the schemes of the central and state government, in his speeches, yet does not miss a chance to take aim at Kamal Nath and Digvijay Singh.

During discussions, Scindia expresses confidence in BJP winning all 29 seats in the state this time. He highlights the widespread popularity of Prime Minister Modi’s schemes among the general populace, especially noting the appeal of the Ladli scheme to women voters. Rao Yajvendra Singh of the Congress is in electoral fray against Scindia, who comes from the Yadav community and is contesting in the Lok Sabha elections for the first time. In comparison to Scindia, Yajvendra seems to lag significantly behind in campaign efforts. Scindia, on the other hand, is leaving no stone unturned in his bid to gather support, meticulously organizing rallies, public meetings, and roadshows in every assembly constituency. Despite focusing on his parliamentary seat Guna, he also dedicates time to campaign for other Lok Sabha seats in the state.
