The Supreme Court Collegium Recommended the transfer of Justice Shree Chandrashekhar from Jharkhand High Court to the Rajasthan High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium takes the decision in response to the senior-most Judge of the Jharkhand High Court, Justice Chandrashekhar’s formal request for a transfer from the Jharkhand High Court.
The Supreme Court Collegium recommended Justice Shree Chandrashekhar’s transfer to the Rajasthan High Court in its resolution dated December 29, 2023. It has recently been announced by the Union Government the appointment of Justice Shree Chandrashekhar’s as the Acting Chief Justice of the Jharkhand High Court.
The appointment made followed the retirement of Chief Justice Sanjaya Kumar Mishra.
