It is a Triangle in Himachal Pradesh, Congress expects high yet AAP making stirs and BJP is more into meeting people of Himachal. As Aam Aadmi Party is spreading its wings in Himachal Pradesh for upcoming Elections, the BJP Election core committee encountered major changes on Thursday. On Thursday AAP rallied in Una while announcing its second guarantee for Himachalis and BJP National Vice President Saudan Singh is deputed as Election in charge of Himachal.

Meanwhile, the AAP also announced a sort of guarantee to the people of Himachal. AAP has promised that if voted to power, it will provide healthcare in Himachal like Delhi and Punjab. Mohalla clinics will be opened, where free treatment will be available. Also, if a soldier of the Indian Army and Himachal Police is martyred, then his family will be given an honorarium of Rs 1 crore. On the other hand, BJP has lambasted AAP as a party of fakesters which came to power in Delhi and Punjab on fake promises.

This is pertinent to mention that in 2017 assembly elections, BJP won 44 seats while Congress 21. MAKPA party won only one seat out of 68. Two seats were won by two independent candidates. Though Congress is having high hopes in this election as Himachal has been choosing the other party that lost previously yet AAP is a headache for Congress and BJP both. After the Punjab Assembly elections results, these two national parties are not taking AAP for granted. BJP’s sitting MLAs are mostly seen in their respective constituencies, realising the ground reality.

Elections are to be held in Himachal Pradesh in November and BJP is gearing up for that. It has appointed Chief Minister Jai Ram Thakur as the chairman of the State Election Steering Committee just before the assembly elections. Apart from this, former BJP state president Dr. Rajiv Bindal has been made the chairman of the election management committee.

Apart from BJP, Aam Aadmi Party and Congress are also engaged in preparations for the assembly polls. In the past few days, there has been massive churning in Congress. Senior Congress leader Anand Sharma has already resigned from the post of president of Congress’s Steering Committee for Himachal Pradesh elections.
