A day after the release from jail, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut met his party chief Uddhav Thackeray. Raut reached party chief’s private residence in Mumbai on Thursday.

After the meet, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackeray spoke to media outside his residence and said that Raut’s aggression will be the same as it was before. “We are really happy to have Sanjay back. He is not only a leader or an MP of the party, but he is my special friend, and his return will boost the voice of our party. Raut was silent for some time, but now he has come out and he is going to roar again,” said Thackeray.  

In connection with the Patra Chawl  money laundering case, Raut was arrested by the enforcement directorate (ED). However he was granted bail by a special court in Mumbai on Wednesday his release is considered a relief for the Maha Vikas Aghadi alliance before the municipal elections.

On the release, Shiv Sena chief Uddhav Thackrey stated that the courts order has proves that the central government uses the agencies against opposition and that the judiciary is the only hope that is left in the country.

“This is very clear that the government agencies like ED were being used to break the opposition parties and its leaders.Sanjay has shown us how to fight without letting his self-respect down.” said Thackrey.
