Samsung has a device for everyone in every range. Samsung got a revamp in 2018, and there has been no stopping. During the lockdown as well we saw several devices being launched from the Korean giant. One mid-range device from Samsung which has been a highlight in their lineup has been the Galaxy F41.
SPECIFICATIONS
The phone comes with a 6.40-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1080×2340 pixels at a pixel density of 403 pixels per inch (ppi) and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9. Powered by an 8 MHz Samsung Exynos 9611 processor, Samsung Galaxy F41 comes with 6GB of RAM. It runs on Android 10 and powered by a 6000mAh battery. The phone supports proprietary fast charging. Samsung Galaxy F41 on the rear packs a 64MP primary camera, a second 8-megapixel camera and a third 5MP camera. It sports a 32MP camera on the front for selfies. DESIGN & DISPLAY
Galaxy F41 has a standard unibody plastic design with glancing edges and a somewhat glossy finish. The device is on the thicker side, which is most likely due to a sizable 6,000mAh battery housed inside. The triple camera is in a rectangular housing with an LED flash instead of the typical Samsung L-shaped quad-lens layout. A USB Type-C port, 3.5mm headphone jack and speaker grille are present on the bottom as usual, and the volume rocker and power buttons are placed on the side. The AMOLED display on the Galaxy F41 measures 6.4-inch in size and offers FHD+ resolution (2,340 x 1,080 pixels). The screen is clear, and the colours are vivid on the screen. In bright daylight, you find it easy to use the device.
CAMERA
A triple camera setup is present on the phone, including a 64MP primary lens with a large f/1.8 aperture. Galaxy F41 is supported by an ultra-wide lens with 8MP resolution and 5MP depth sensor. On the front is a 32MP selfie snapper. Photography on a Samsung device has always been a delight and this phone is no different. Just like its other devices, the images are bright and natural in the day. There is a tint of filter which I must say makes the images look better. The night photography is a delight as well. The image quality is clear and worthy enough to post. The ultra-wide lens gives you an image which wouldn’t need over-editing.
The 32MP selfie camera gives great results, just as good as you expect from a flagship Samsung device.
PROCESSOR
Galaxy F41 is powered by Exynos 9611 SoC which is one of the most capable SoCs for efficient multitasking, power management, and handling moderately heavy graphics-related tasks. The device faced no issue while being used for multitasking. Gaming might not be the best on this phone.
BATTERY
The 6000mAh battery is a real highlight of this device and helps it run smoothly for more than two days.
VERDICT
Galaxy F41 has a great AMOLED screen with a good camera set up and formidable battery. The phone missed out on fast charge and could have been powered by a battery chipset. If you want a mid-range device and have faith in the Samsung brand, are looking for a good camera and battery, then Galaxy F41 can be an easy pick.
