Samsung in August alongside the Galaxy range of smartphones introduced Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro. These are the successor to Buds Pro and what do I think about them? Let’s find out. What attracted me the most when I pulled out my review unit was the New Bora Purple Color. The Buds Pro 2 look very trendy in this color and of course you know in an instant that they are the Buds 2 Pro.

DESIGN
Samsung has made the Buds 2 Pro lighter and smaller than its predecessor. Not just the buds, but even the case is lighter now, making it easy to carry and feel smaller and well fitted when fixed in your ear. The matte finish of the box and the buds gives it a very premium feel. The charging of the box is via USB- C, which is placed at the back of the box. You get LED indicator both inside and outside the case. The buds place perfectly well inside the case with the help of the magnet.

CONTROL SYSTEM
Galaxy Buds 2 Pro’s controls can be customised through the Galaxy Wearables app. You can toggle between the control system with the help of the app. The touch control is easy, and you can make your way up without any difficulty. Samsung has added a “Lab” feature to the app that allows you to adjust volume levels by tapping the edges of the buds.
Active Noise Cancellation
Samsung claims that it has improved the ANC in the Buds 2 Pro by 40%. Well, the experience has also been equally good. While listing to music the ANC help cancel out majorly any sound around you. Helping you stay engaged with what you are listing to.
Apart from ANC, the Buds 2 Pro also have a Transparency mode and a mode to turn ANC off with the earbuds relying solely on passive noise cancellation.
Keeping the formfactor in mind and the development made in the ANC department in Buds 2 Pro, I am pleasantly surprised and have nothing to complain about.
AUDIO QUALITY
The sound quality on the Galaxy Buds 2 Pro has been drastically improved in comparison to its predecessor. One of the major upgrades to audio quality is 24-bit/48kHz Hi-Fi sound processing. You can feel the improvement in the 360 Audio feature, especially while watching content, which does have the entire cinematic audio experience.
Samsung has several EQ settings, including Normal, Bass Boost, Dynamic, Soft, Clear, Treble Boost.
Galaxy Buds 2 Pro does produce good audio quality and can be used with ease. While listening to music of different genres or watching content with various audio levels, the device doesn’t disappoint. It works best with Galaxy devices as the integration is seamless in that case.

BATTERY
Samsung claims that the Buds 2 Pro can deliver up to five hours of playback on a single charge with noise cancellation turned on.
Additionally, the case brings that total up to 18 hours or 21 hours with ANC turned off. While using it myself, the numbers remained more or less the same.
Buds 2 Pro can go from 0- 100 quickly enough for you to use your device without any issue. The buds also support Wireless PowerShare.

VERDICT
Samsung’s Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are a great under 20K pick. It ticks all boxes when it comes to design, style, comfort, audio quality, features and above all ANC. Battery of the Buds 2 Pro might not be top of the line but cannot really a hurdle. Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro would be a great pick for any Galaxy device user. They will enjoy the seamless integration. For the price and what all comes inside this little box I guess the Samsung Galaxy Buds 2 Pro are a good pick.
